Mountain Lake Biological Station maintains species collections of bird skins, plants, insects, mammal skins, and fish.  These collections are currently being cataloged and computerized.  Please contact the Associate Director, enagy@virginia.edu for help or if you have questions about the collections or databases.  Databases and the following web pages are maintained with the biological collections software package BIOTA.  Only the bird and fish collection catalogs are currenlty available on line.
